Did you know? Did you know that rainbows can occur at night? Although the term rainbow typically evokes images of colorful, daytime displays, it is possible for them to appear after dark. This phenomenon is known as a moonbow or lunar rainbow. It occurs when there are water droplets in the air and the Moon is full, reflecting sunlight towards the observers eye.
Creative Coloring Ideas:
• Here are five possible coloring ideas for the Rainbow image:
• 1. Pastel Rainbow: Color each arc of the rainbow a different pastel color like light blue, pink, green, yellow and orange.
• 2. Rainbow Clouds: Add fluffy white clouds to each end of the rainbow in black or gray.
• 3. Dotted Rainbow: Use dots instead of lines for the arcs of the rainbow. You could use one color (like red) throughout or alternate colors with every other arc.
• 4. Sparkly Rainbow: Color the rainbow using a glitter marker and add sparkles to each cloud at the end.
