Did you know? Dinosaurs Lived Among Us for Longer Than We Think Contrary to popular belief, dinosaurs did not go extinct all at once as depicted in the movie Jurassic Park. In reality, they coexisted with modern humans (Homo sapiens) for a significant period of time. This is because the last dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years ago, while the first humans didnt appear until around 200,000 years ago. Therefore, its possible that some early human ancestors may have encountered these prehistoric creatures during their lifetime.
