Did you know? The word dragon is believed to have originated from the Greek word drakon, which was used to describe both real and imaginary creatures, including snakes and serpents, as well as dragons.
Creative Coloring Ideas:
• Here are five colouring page suggestions:
• Fire-Breathing Dragon: Use orange, yellow, and red crayons to fill in the dragons body. The wings should be light blue, representing smoke from its fiery breath. The scales on its belly can be turquoise.
• Night Sky Dragon: Fill in the dragon with purple and black crayons. The eyes and mouth should be bright green. A small dot of orange could represent a star in the night sky above it.
• Rainbow Dragon: Use all the colours of the rainbow to fill in the body: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The wings can be a light shade of pink or white. Add some gold for highlights on its horns.
• Forest Dragon: Fill in the dragon with brown crayons, leaving some areas blank for texture. Green and blue crayons could represent leaves from trees and water in a river nearby. A bright red tongue would add pop to this image.
